Hello friends--
I bragged so much about your terrific help on my last request that another English
teacher has come to me hoping for your assistance.
She teaches a junior level English skills class with many ESL and learning
differently students who read (mostly) on a 6-8 grade level. She'd like to replace
Huck Finn with something dealing still with slavery, the Civil War, coming of age,
etc. . . They need something pretty interesting to keep them focused.
My thanks in advance to you on her behalf!
Emily, the library goddess
It's great to be a Great Bend High Panther!
