I am looking for a source that provides some guidance for "if you liked x,
then try ..." with an emphasis on genre. It can be print or web-based but
has to be easily accessible or commonly available within North America as I
want to reference it in my book.
I know that this has been asked before but a search of the archives gave me
over 700 hits! In particular, I found a couple from Jean Lowery from 2004
but the responses seemed to be more geared towards an adult audience - my
focus is on elementary students. Is this something that is available
through some of the subscriptions that you purchase? if so, which ones? I
don't have access to explore them.
I am going to suggest that my readers search their own OPACs for suggestions
but I'd like to offer some ideas that could lead to further purchases. Of
course, Australian titles that I might offer my students will not suit
because they are probably not available.
Thanks
Barbara
