[LM_NET] Target: average age of collection

After running a collection analysis, and seeing what the average age is of my 
elementary school collection, I am wondering if the ALA or another authority has 
recommendations for the overall age of a collection. I know that there are certain 
hundreds that are best kept current, but is there a rule of thumb for the 
collection as a whole?
