A huge "thank you!" to all of you who responded so promptly to my
request for titles of wordless picutre books! I tried to send this
message last week but it kept bouncing back so I'll try again. I received
many very helpful responses and now have quite a list to choose from.
Since several of you pointed out that I could get recent hits on
this topic from the LM_NET archives, I won't post a long hit list of
titles to the entire list. If you are one of those who would like the
list, please let me know and I will post the hit to you directly.
Some really good web sites were also suggested:
www.lfpl.org
Louisville Free Public Library
www.titlewave.com
Follett
nancykeane.com/rl/317.htm
Nancy Keane
www.eduref.org/lm_net/archive/
do a search on wordless picture books
leopac.nypl.org
search stories without words
Lastly, several people pointed out that "wordless picture books" is a
sears subject heading so you can search any OPAC on that subject heading
and get a list that way - unless your elementary is like mine and not
automated yet.
Thanks again for all your help!!
