In case you have not yet heard.... Congratulations are in order for Cyndi
Phillips!

AASL NEWS:

6.  Cynthia A. Phillip elected AASL president for 2006-2007

Cynthia (Cyndi) A. Phillip, elementary school library media specialist for
the Grand Haven (Mich.) area public schools, has been elected president of
AASL for the 2006-2007 term.

Phillip is a past president of the Michigan Association for Media in
Education (MAME), an AASL affiliate, and a past chair of the AASL
Affiliate Assembly. She currently serves on ALA Council as
member-at-large. She is also program co-chair for the 2005 AASL National
Conference in Pittsburgh.
