What automation systems being used by school librarians DO NOT allow the librarian
to run a "collection age analysis"? I am assuming that most systems DO allow this,
but are there some that do not?
Also, if you have never run a collection age analysis, is there a reason why? Do
you have the ability to run the analysis or are others required to do this / have
the ability to run this instead(district systems, perhaps)?
I am working on a "librarian homework assignment" for one of the workshops I
mentioned last week, and I want to be able to realistically determine what types of
systems don't provide this option--I use Follett (and have used Winnebago), so I
know these two do allow the analysis, but I need others' insights and program
information!
Any information about systems that DON'T work would be appreciated!
Thanks!
