[LM_NET] Gen: Broadcast Studio

Hello to all!
  My school is looking into setting up a broadcast studio to do morning
announcements, special programs, etc...  We have a video camera, TVs in
every room, and a media retrieval system that basically gives us our own
local cable channels.  Is there anyone else out there with a similar setup?
What else do we need?  Is there any software involved?  Can you give me any
suggestions?
I would appreciate any help you can offer.
