We've talked about this before - there is the "right" way to do cataloging. But
your way must be the way the suits you and your patrons.
For example, I am in a school of first, second and third graders. My aide and I
decided we would have less angst if we put ALL the holiday books together on one
shelf. No more hunting for Valentine's stories.
Is it correct? Nope. But if it helps my kids and teachers find what they want, I
am willing to do it.
