I have been taking a course offered by iEARN
http://iearn.org and wonder if any of you have participated in an iEARN
project or know teachers at your school who have?
The mission of iEARN is to generate exchanges between classes of students in
different countries, and the list of possible projects is very extensive.
My situation is that there are three of us in different Delaware schools who
are working on a great project called Time Machine and we need partner
schools in other countries. I chose Time Machine (research into famous
events and birth anniversaries of important people) because of the
information literacy component. Others might focus on the social studies or
the language arts aspects.
If you are interested personally or think teachers at your school might be,
please contact me off the list. I do highly recommend the iEARN courses.
TIA.
