[LM_NET] Off Topic - A report on my sister

Thank you for your expressions of concern...and prayers.

It went well...just got home.
  The tumor is benign (as expected), the doctor was able to dislodge the
tumor and leave about 1/2 of the pituitary gland.  He thinks that is enough
for it to produce its secretions and she won't have to take hormones.   That
will take a few weeks to know for sure.  She will be in ICU for 48 hours
...and then go home.  (Insurance only gives 2 days in the hospital for brain
surgery!)

Again, thanks for "holding my hand" in this stressful time.
