Hmmm... I had never thought to check that. My Thunderbird says there
are 26 messages in my inbox but I count 35. I moved them all to a
subfolder and the miscount improved to 33. Moving them back to the
inbox the count stays at 33. I am running XP on a Pentium 4. Very
strange indeed.
