[LM_NET] TAR: 6th grade war report resources

Our sixth graders are doing their big reports this year on wars.  Students
have selected from the various wars such as WWI, WWII, Korean, Persian,
Vietnam, Spanish-American, etc.  Do any of you know some good websites that
are comprehensible for this age group?  The primary information that we are
going to need from online sources are:

Inventions
Medical Advances
New People/New Territories
Maps
Impact of the war
Public and media view of the war

If you have any such sites, please let me know.

They have been using books for some of these topics and others that I
haven't listed.  We have used SIRS and INFOTRAC but they are not producing
good results that the students are comprehending.
