While searching for the Polar Express rating, I saw the movie site and it
has a great activity program for students to participate in during the month
of October....start planning now!!!
http://php.warnerbros.com/movies/polarexpress/pages.php?s=challenge
There's also a great list of Classroom activities that could be used in the
library:
One of the activities is called: "Start a Train Reaction"....which involves
students reading and keeping a "log" of what they read. When the reading
logs are mailed in, they become eligible for the random drawing of FREE
MOVIE PREVIEW tickets....where? Don't know...didn't read the small print!
Also, there's a great mini-poster that you can download and print from the
site...
in the meantime, I'll keep looking for the ratings information---the website
says that it hasn't been rated yet...but this may be outdated.
