Subject: GEN: MID: Life Skills class- ideas needed

Dear all,

In my haste, I mis-read the subject heading of the above-mentioned posting …
inadvertently moved the colon. Luckily, I re-read the original posting,
before I offered the following list of mid-life skills that needed to be
addressed:

1. Balance pay (not enough), outgoing expenses (too much) and taxes
(unavoidable) – and leave sufficient funds for regular savings and
occasional extravagances.

2. Balance work time (not enough) and family time (not enough), leaving
sufficient hours in the day to sleep (not enough), read (not enough), plus
live a full and rich life (minimum hours required per day = 28)

3. Learn to peacefully co-exist (where possible) with all personality types
from Type A to Generation X; in situations that include close working
relationships, casual encounters, and family life.

I’m sure there are many more mid-life skills, but I figure if you’ve got the
first three under control, the rest will probably fall into place. More or
less.
