TAR: HS: Becoming a HS librarian: what's most important?

Dear Colleagues:

Earlier this week, I was asked by our super to transfer to the district =
high school when the current librarian retires in December.  I have =
decided to take the offer. =20

My career includes 10+ years in academic and medical libraries and 6+ =
years as an elementary school librarian, but NO years in the high school =
setting.

So in order to be more prepared, I'd like to know what you consider to =
be most essential in the job, especially the most crucial reference =
materials and websites.  Any guidance and advice will be appreciated.  =
Please reply to me personally and I will post a hit if there is =
interest.
