There is another school in the district facing a challenge that was presented this
summer. A lot of things have gone wrong with the challenge, not being addressed in
a timely manner, the first challenge for the school and principal, etc. The
committee is meeting on Monday, so I don't have too much time to help. Maniac
Magee is one of the books being challenged. The challenging parent thinks that she
should be a part of the review committee. We can find nothing in our policy to say
she can't be.
Opinions? Does anyone have an exclusion in their policy?
Please send your responses to me and I will post a HIT if needed.
Thanks for your help.
