Research reading interest

I need your expertise.
I have to write a paper about research on reading interest.  I am looking at
young adolescence since the class is about young adults.
I found some info about boys and what they like to read but nothing about
girls.
Does anyone know where I can find online info on statistics or research on
girls' reading interest?
Or, can you think of other reading interest that I should look at when
looking at young adults?
