families last year about teaching The Best Christmas Pageant Ever as a cl=

novel. This year they are being told to find an alternative book. They ne=

something that would be suitable for the holidays, though not specificall=
y
Christian-oriented, fairly short and at a 5 or 6 reading level. I have
checked the archives to no avail. Please send any suggestions you may hav=
e.
