Hello,
I'm doing a booktalk on materials relating to the Holocaust. It is =
tied in with a class that is studying The Diary of Anne Frank. I was =
curious as to how the Holocaust camed to have this name. The dictionary =
definition is to consume entirely or to destroy by fire. In regard to =
Nazi Germany's presecution and destruction of Jews and other =
undesireables in the period of 1939 to 1945, who first used the term? =
How did it come about that this term would be used to refer to this =
historical tragedy?
