I have learned the simplest solution of them all!
Get someone else to do it! I Love it! Thanks to those who wrote to tell me of the
wonderful folk at Best Buy. Thanks also to everyone else who wrote suggesting
various thing like spyware eliminators that I could download.
Best Buy! They offer a service where, for $40, they will professionally check your
pc for infestation of rats, roaches and other pests and exterminate them.
It does not matter whether you bought your pc from them or not. You only have to
take them the tower--leave your keyboard, mouse, etc. home.
Maybe I'll just do this as a matter of course every 6 months or so. Why not? I do
it to my house to make sure no creepy crawlies get in.
I wonder what ring of hell would Dante have created for the !@#$s who create these
malicious viruses.
My fantasy would involve them being tied to stakes and left there as a vulture
buffet.
