Happy Monday Morning!
I have some copyright questions this morning. If the yearbook class =
wishes to place copies of the senior pictures of teachers in the =
yearbook, is that legal? I know that I never obtained permission to =
reprint from the place where my photos were taken. I also know that =
they are making quite a profit on those yearbooks.
Also, if the same organization wants to take entire pieces from band and =
choir concerts and sell them as part of a fundraiser video about the =
year, is that legal? What about video clips of students at athletic =
events? Do they need permission from the individual student and does =
that have to be documented somewhere? =20
My instincts tell me that the answer is No to all of the above, but my =
copyright book is at home and I don't have time to search the net. I =
would appreciate your help!
TIA
