An opinion about state testing

This columnist makes the point that no education takes place during the
testing because the entire school is disrupted because of the
esting.  --Not to mention the weeks prior when preparation for the test is
the focus, rather than teaching/learning.
--------99% of the teachers in Texas will immediately "go on a rant" if you
bring up state testing, yet the politicians feel this is the only way to
make sure we are doing our job.
