Re: copyright question from student re using a name

A name can't be copyrighted, only trademarked.

He can check the Trademark Electronic Search System (TESS) at
<http://tess2.uspto.gov/bin/gate.exe?f=tess&state=486m4f.1.1>... although
it doesn't seem to be working at the moment, it's probably just a transient
problem.
