Elem:Target>biography for gr. 1-2

I need to strengthen the biography section in my K-2 school.  I am =
interested in locating the best, not just ho-hum books in a series.  For =
example, < The Story of Ruby Bridges >, < Snowflake Bentley >, and < The =
Boy Who Loved To Draw > are books that my students have loved.   What =
biographies do you recommend as being top quality for K-2?  I will post =
a hit.
