OT: Denial of tenure

Hello everyone! I'm asking for advice for a good friend of mine who was denied 
tenure in her third year at a public school. She is applying for new positions now 
and the school employment applications always ask - were you were ever denied 
tenure? She doesn't know what to do - tell the truth or not. Advice needed.
