OT: humor and vocabulary building

Hello,
        In the February issue of MAD magazine there is a collection of rejected =
super heros.  These include the Entomologist, Mediocre-Man, Vocabulon, =
Apathenia and the Incredible Infringement Man. =20

        Here is a description of Vocabulon:

Profile - Uses his awesome knowledge of words to annoy and bore =
evildoers into submission
Main Powers - perspicacity, erudition
Vulnerable to - quotidian obstreperousness

        I haven't had any students ask for a dictionary yet, but I certainly =
needed one. =20
