TARGET: nonfiction

Does anyone use nonfiction/biography books (classroom sets or individual
titles) across the curriculum to teach/reinforce reading and writing
skills.

We are looking for any other programs similar to one we are doing.  Any
ideas are helpful.  We are 7-12.
