Does anyone know of any books (or short stories) good for an 8-year-old/2nd
grader about appreciating what one has and not wanting to run away from
home? "Wizard of Oz" might be a little old, and I'm not sure that "My Side
of the Mountain" or "From the Mixed-Up Files..." send the right message.
TIA!
