I am considering a new digital camera for an extended trip. I am curious
to know if you can download pictures from the camera and memory sticks
to a flash (pen, jump, etc.) drive via the USB ports. I have only used
the Sony Mavica with discs so I am not real familiar with the
capabilities and limitations of the other cameras. The reason that I am
asking is that I am going to purchase a jump drive to transfer files
between home and school. If it is possible to download the pics from the
camera, I will buy a larger drive so that it would solve the problem of
mulitple memory cards while traveling or trying to find an Internet cafe
that allows peripheral devices.
Anyone have any experience with this?
Thanks, as usual for all the help.
