Thank you for all of the suggestions I've been sent on a lesson dealing
with fiction and nonfiction. In the lesson I currently use, there is a
mixture of both in one book so we discuss what is real and make believe
and it leads to a discussion on books that are fiction and nonfiction,
except I use the words real and make believe with first graders. (They
hear me say fiction and nonfiction also.) What I've discovered that I
really need, is another book that has both of these elements, not the
idea of using two different books.
Thanks a bunch for your support.
Have a great day!
