Hi all!

How are your Instructional Media Centers structured?

In our school, a K-12 Catholic private school in Manila, has a 2 year old
IMC that was put up so teachers may integrate technology in their
instruction. Right now, only a few teachers use it, somewhat like 15% of
the total teaching population. They do mostly powerpoint presenattions,
excel and word applictaions there. Only limited teachers use the Internet
for teaching.

The school director is studying his options to put a librarian in the IMC
to make it more visible to teachers and that they may use technology more
in their teaching. I am looking for structures and programs that may be
similar to this to propose to our school director.

Should you have any online resources and valuable experience that echo the
same concern, I would appreciate it very much.

TIA,
Zarah Gagatiga
