Does anyone know of a recent review on Encyclopedias that would rate
them for a k-12 setting? I try to buy a new set every year or at
least every other year. Currently, we have World Book, Compton's,
Academic American, Americana, and an older set of Britannica. I am
wondering about replacing the Britannica as I can do that for about
$1100 for the 32 vol. set. This is supposed to be written at a
middle school to high school level. Though we have a number of
electronic databases, my print encyclopedias get a pretty good
workout through the year.
