SEC: Personalized Learning (Education) Plans

Hello,
   Our school is looking into implementing Personalized Learning Plans
(PLP) or Personalized Education Plans (PEP) for all of our students.  We
are also looking into the school-within-a-school concept.   Are there
any schools out there that currently have PEP's or PLP's?   Can you give
me contact information or websites that can help in our search for best
practices concerning this learning initiative?  Also, we would love to
hear the pros and cons as well as the processes involved.
