Re: ALA membership

I don't know about you, but my library doesn't pay for my membership - =
never has. I consider that a responsibility as a member of the profession.

If you are grouchy, then so am I!  Because of the expense, I have to =

whether to join AASL or YALSA. I can't afford to join both, as much as I
would like to. Why can't there be a discount for joining multiple =
divisions?
Or, why can't one division membership be included with the ALA dues? It's
expense for libraries with small budgets to be members but not being a
member isn't an option.
