TAR: My first year - 2 schools - advice wanted

Hello LM_Netters.  I just got my first job offer as a Lib. Media =
Specialist.  This position is split between two elementary schools, k-5, =
and also is not automated.  I will have 2 and 1/2 days in one school and =
the same for the other each week.  I will be responsible for two =
libraries, bulletin boards, two sets of students, teachers etc.  If =
anyone can offer advice, strategies or tips I would appreciate =
it..anywhere from learning names, discipline (a city school system), or =
any other of the array of activities that you have managed to save time =
doing..circulation..lesson plans, etc.  I would appreciate your ideas.  =
It is difficult going into a new school as a first year teacher.  This =
situation poses more of a challenge, so those of you who could help me =
prepare, thank you.  (I know about the section on LM_NET for the first =
days of school...I am looking for specifics of my situation.)
