[LM_NET] Vent! ELEM -- Getting teachers to sign out materials

Hello, sympathetic ear:

I don't need advice -- just a place to vent without making my  
colleagues crazy.
How can we convince our otherwise wonderful classroom staff that they  
must sign out library materials?  How many times have I heard 'Oh,  
I'm just taking this to my room for a minute' and the item is never  
seen again?  Everyone thinks he or she is soooo responsible and will  
not forget.  Each and every one means well.
Sigh.
