This book also mentions a tsunami. It is not the focus of the story, but
the Newfoundland dog warns everyone to get to higher ground. There was a
discussion in some of the information about the animals that survived. The
animals must have had a "6th" sense about the wave. There is, according to what I
read, no scientific evidence of this, mostly because it is impossible to
recreate a tsunami in a lab situation.
