TARGET: How the Earth got its name?

Hello all you smart people.

Our 4th graders are doing their space projects and having fun connecting
the myths with the planets. The group doing the Earth came to the
library wanting to know who named the Earth. Does anyone out their know
where the name came from?

Out of the mouths of babes......
