Target: Teacher Appreciation Stories

Dear Netters,
My principal asked for a recommendation of a story to read to 5th grade for
Teacher Aqppreciation Day. I drew a blank on this one and decided to go to
the experts whose brains are not on spring break. Do you have a picture
book or a chapter from a longer story that would fill the bill? I will post
a hit if there is interest.
