SEC: TARGET: fiction by Native American

We're drawing a blank here, and I know you've always managed to
come through for us in the past.  One of our 9th grade English
teachers is looking for fiction written by authors from various
cultures.  We haven't been able to come up with a Native Ameri-
can author.  I know it's probably one of those situations where
we can't see the forest for the trees, but ... we're hoping one
of you will be able to help with suggestions.  Thanks.
