I received some interest in the question of what was the industry
standard ratio of technical support people to either users or computers
but I only got one response which said
" Last article I read in Technology Connection a few years ago - it was
30:1."
However...I was at an Apple presentation the other day and the presenter
said the ratio was 10 users to one technician...at least I think he said
users. It might have been computers. Either way, I know at least in my
situation we're WAY far behind.
That's what I know so far. If anyone runs across anything less vague,
please pass it on. Thanks!
