First off, I'd like to apologize for posting multiple times. I was
having trouble with the list. But, I think it's working ok now.

Second, the reason I posed the question to you all is that I just want
to get some feed back from those you who have security systems, have
gone through the process of deciding which system to purchase, etc.

We are a small library, but we do have a problem with materials
sprouting legs and walking out. As I am sure all of you have had
experience with. We have contemplated purchasing a system for several
years now.

However, as I said before, our library is small and we have two exits to
the library. We are a 4-A high school with about 400 students. Also, we
have a copy machine and two risograph machines in the library. This has
caused a huge increase in traffic not only during opening hours but also
after closing time. All the teachers have a key to the main library area
so that they can have access to the copy machines. So this makes keeping
the library secure after closing hours impossible.

Does anyone have any suggestions on what system has worked the best for
them, etc.

I am clearing my drop-down history in Netscape via the
following method:

3. Go to Program Files.
4. Go to Netscape.
5. Go to Navigator.
6. Go to Users.
7. Go to Default.
8. Go to "prefs."
9. The first time it asks what program to open--say Wordpad
and then "yes." (you can use others)
10. Scroll down to "browser.URL.history....."
11. Hold shift and push the down arrow key to highlight the
history files.
