REF: Italian flag

        Hi Netters:  My best reference book on flags of the world
unfortunately walked out of the Media Center.  I have an exchange student
from Italy  who has to give a presentation about her country.  She wants
information on the Italian flag as to orgin of colors.  I have planty
information about the history of the flag but nothing about the colors and
why they were chosen and their significance.  I would appreciate information
about the colors in this flag.  TIA Don McCoy
