Several years ago I had an elementary student return a very badly chewed
book. Title: How to Train Your Puppy in Seven Days!

Yes, the dog books are the ones that get chewed up. I had the same
with *Superpuppy
*and then *Red Fern Grows.* I figured out that kids with dogs read doggy
books and that is the connection. But my dog can read! I blogged about
this
a while back. He eats books when I go off on trips and he is left
behind. He
never touches them if I am at home. Anyway, he got my copy of *Chew On
This*.
Really, what was he supposed to think? If you go to this link and scroll
down, you should get his picture:

He was arf-full upset. Cheers, mabell
