[LM_NET] Book title

Hello,
I have a teacher who is looking for a book that is rather old. She
thinks it's title is "Omar's Canyon". It is about a boy whose plane
crashes in the canyon and he stays with a hermit until he is rescued.
Does anyone remember this book?
