I think that the negative comment may result from some confusion between Alice and
Alexandria. Alice is a product of Softlink, an Australian company. For a year or
two Companion marketed Alice in the US before developing Alexandria for Windows. I
have used both programs. Softlink does have offices in the US and I did okay with
customer support, but I had a lot of problems with the lack of stability of Alice,
especially when our server would go down. This was one of the reasons that we
switched to Alexandria.
