I have a couple of third grade teachers who are working with an after
school group and they want to use picture books where the students
need to really pay attention to the pictures. Obviously wordless
books are at the top of the list (I've already got a list of about 60
for them) but one teacher was trying to remember a book about an
animal (pig maybe?) who was walking along and not noticing the chaos
going on behind him...any ideas? I also thought about Ellen Raskin's
"Nothing ever happens on my block' but I no longer have a copy and
the cheapest used one on Amazon was over $100!!!!
Thanks for any ideas about this title or any other titles that will
fit the topic.
