Who publishes quality nonfiction for low level readers in middle school?
Students here will be conducting research on various wars using only
trade books, discovering the causes of a specific war, famous war plans
and generals associated with the war, as well as the effects of the war
on specific populations. I am finding only biographies for a K-3
audience when I search my usual vendors for war nonfiction, which does
not help. Does anything exist in the universe that will allow low-level
readers to answer these types of questions? Thanks!
