[LM_NET] Tar: Lulu publishing - children's book

Hello Library Lovers,
 
I'm considering writing a picture book. I was talking to a children's
author recently and she thought my idea was good. It would be about a
girl (me) getting chicks (through the mail) and raising them for the
fair. (She thought butchering would be too graphic!) :) She said that
farm books are big sellers - which they sure are in WI - and that this
would be unique. Question: Has anyone used Lulu.com for publishing? Has
anyone ordered books from them? Would anyone be interested in this book?
Ok . . . that's three questions! Just looking for information before I
even start thinking too much. I have a great artist in mind for pictures
even!
