A teacher requested to check out our camcorder to tape her classroom because of the
bad behavior. She thinks that the camcorder will act as a deterrent. We do have
cameras in our halls and in the library with notices on the doors explaining that
cameras are in use. I told her I would check on the legality of it. Our principal
will probably say no without thinking about it. I would love to hear from anyone
who has done this and what steps they went through to be sure it would be legal.
Sincerely,
